Shipping Overview

At RBSi, we supply specialist renewable energy and heating products across Ireland, Northern Ireland, the United Kingdom, and selected European Union countries.

Due to the technical and often oversized nature of many of our products, shipping arrangements, lead times, and delivery methods may vary depending on the equipment ordered and destination country.

We aim to provide reliable delivery services, accurate communication, and practical support throughout the shipping process.


1. Shipping Destinations

We currently ship to:

  • Republic of Ireland

  • Northern Ireland

  • United Kingdom

  • Selected European Union countries

Shipping availability may vary depending on:

  • Product type

  • Weight and dimensions

  • Manufacturer restrictions

  • Freight requirements

  • Local import or transport limitations

If your country is unavailable at checkout, please contact us directly before placing an order.


2. Processing Times

Typical order processing times are:

  • 1 to 3 business days for stocked items

  • Longer lead times for:

    • Specialist equipment

    • Large commercial products

    • Custom or made-to-order systems

    • Manufacturer-direct shipments

Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next working day.

Some products may require additional preparation, palletising, or freight coordination before dispatch.

If delays occur, we will contact you as soon as possible.


3. Delivery Times

Estimated delivery times:

European Union 5 to 15 business days

Delivery times are estimates only and may vary due to:

  • Courier network delays

  • Customs or import processing

  • Supplier lead times

  • Seasonal demand

  • Weather conditions

  • Freight scheduling

Heat pumps, cylinders, and ventilation systems are excellent at moving heat and air. Sadly, they are less efficient at teleportation.


4. Shipping Charges

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout where applicable.

Additional freight charges may apply for:

  • Oversized products

  • Pallet deliveries

  • Remote delivery locations

  • Commercial transport requirements

  • Multi-pallet shipments

  • International freight services

Where additional charges apply, customers will be contacted prior to dispatch.


5. Large & Heavy Equipment Deliveries

Certain products including:

  • Heat pumps

  • Hot water cylinders

  • Thermal storage units

  • MVHR systems

  • Bulk underfloor heating materials

may require:

  • Pallet delivery

  • Tail-lift vehicles

  • Specialist freight transport

  • Scheduled delivery arrangements

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

  • Safe and suitable site access

  • Adequate unloading facilities

  • Someone is available to receive the delivery

Failed deliveries or restricted access may result in additional delivery charges.


6. Delivery Inspection

Customers should inspect all deliveries immediately upon arrival.

If goods are:

  • Damaged

  • Incorrect

  • Incomplete

you must notify RBSi within 48 hours of delivery.

Photographs of packaging and products may be required for insurance or courier claims.

Damaged products should not be installed unless advised by our technical support team.


7. Delayed or Lost Shipments

While we work closely with courier and freight partners, delays can occasionally occur outside our control.

RBSi shall not be liable for:

  • Installation delays

  • Contractor costs

  • Business interruption

  • Loss of earnings

  • Indirect or consequential losses resulting from shipping delays

If a shipment is significantly delayed or appears lost, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.


8. Tracking Information

Tracking details will be provided where available.

Some specialist freight shipments may involve direct coordination between the customer and the transport provider.


9. Incorrect Shipping Details

Customers are responsible for providing accurate delivery information at checkout.

RBSi is not responsible for failed or delayed deliveries caused by:

  • Incorrect addresses

  • Incomplete delivery details

  • Incorrect contact information

Additional delivery charges caused by incorrect information may be charged to the customer.


10. Local Collection

Certain products may be available for local collection by prior arrangement.

Please contact us directly to arrange collection availability and scheduling.
