Returns
At RBSi, we aim to supply high-quality products and technical solutions that meet the expectations of our customers. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, please review the policy below.
Returns may be accepted within 14 days of delivery subject to the following conditions:

Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.

Products must be in resalable condition.

Proof of purchase or order confirmation must be provided.

Special-order, custom-built, or non-stock items are non-returnable unless faulty or damaged.
Due to the technical nature of many renewable energy and heating products, returns must be approved by RBSi before goods are sent back.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot normally be returned:

Installed or commissioned products

Custom or special-order items

Electrical components that have been connected or powered

Opened software, controls, or programmed devices

Clearance or discounted items

Products damaged through incorrect installation or misuse
This is standard practice in the heating and renewable energy industry because once certain products are installed or energized, they cannot safely be resold. Heat pumps are not t-shirts. Nobody wants a “slightly used compressor with character.” 😄
Faulty or Damaged Goods
If your item arrives damaged or develops a manufacturing fault:

Notify us within 48 hours of delivery for shipping damage.

Provide photographs and a description of the issue.

Do not install or attempt repairs unless instructed by RBSi technical support.
Where applicable, products may be:

Repaired

Replaced
-
Refunded

Referred to the manufacturer warranty process
RBSi reserves the right to inspect or test returned products before approving refunds or replacements.
Refunds
Once a return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding approval or rejection of the refund.
If approved:

Refunds will be processed back to the original payment method.

Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the error was caused by RBSi.
A restocking fee may apply for certain returned goods, particularly larger or specialist equipment.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

The product is faulty

Incorrect goods were supplied

The return was approved due to an error by RBSi
We strongly recommend tracked and insured shipping for all returns.
Technical Support Before Return
Many heating and control products can appear faulty due to setup, wiring, configuration, or installation issues.
Before arranging a return, our technical support team may assist in troubleshooting the issue first. In many cases, this resolves the problem quickly without unnecessary delays or costs.
Warranty
Most products supplied by RBSi are covered by manufacturer warranties subject to:
