Give each room its own temperature control — without running new wires to the room thermostats or radiator heads.
Check my setup with RBSi →Battery-powered room controls. A powered hub and professionally connected plant relay complete the system.

The temperature you choose in the room.
The radiator response to match.
A practical upgrade for existing homes
A comfortable living room. A cooler bedroom. A home office that follows your working day. ENGO room controls let you manage compatible radiator heating around the way you use your home.
RBSi already supplies this approach with client heat-pump packages. We can help you select the right components for your existing system too.
The E40 room thermostat measures the room temperature and works with its paired radiator heads.
Battery-powered thermostats and heads mean no new control cables to those devices.
The EGATE-PRO connects compatible devices to ENGO Smart for app access and scheduling.

System overview only — not a wiring diagram. Device pairing, heat-demand configuration and heat-source compatibility must be checked for the complete installation.

No one-size-fits-all kit: the right quantities and control arrangement depend on your home.
No. The E40 thermostat and ETRV heads are battery-powered, so they do not need new control wiring. The gateway needs power, and the EREL relay needs a 230 V supply and a wired connection to the appropriate heating-control input. That work should be completed by a qualified installer.
The ETRV-M30 uses an M30 × 1.5 valve connection. Your existing valve body and any adaptor requirements need checking — a radiator alone does not guarantee compatibility. Send us valve photos before choosing heads.
Potentially, with a suitable control input and a properly designed system. Your installer must check the heat pump’s control strategy, minimum water flow and system volume, including what happens when radiator zones close. Do not assume every heat pump or existing arrangement is suitable.
Use a separate thermostat for each room you want to control independently. The E40 can pair with up to six ETRV heads in the same room; those heads follow that room’s temperature control, not six separate room setpoints.
Start with a setup check, or explore the four components above if you already have an agreed specification.
